My Trip to Singapore 2017
Hey everyone! I know it’s been a while since my last post but I would like to write a quick update on what I have been up to lately.
For the last 3 weeks, I had been on a vacation to Singapore and I just got back a couple of days ago.
All in all, my trip was pretty good and it turned out to be quite fun.
The good news was that during this trip, my internet business made $400 without me having to do anything at all. This was quite the pleasant surprise.
Anyhow, here is what happened on my trip:
The Plane Ride
If there was one negative aspect of my trip, it would have to be the flight. Both the departure and return flight was horrendous.
The flight was extremely uncomfortable and the flight attendants were mostly grumpy.
I would highly recommend everyone NOT to fly with United Airlines. Their service has got to be the worse I have experienced and I would never fly with them again.
Aside from that, the flight is about 22 hours. This was painfully long. All I know is that the next time I take a flight this long, I would be sitting in first class.
What I Did in Singapore
We stayed at my Grandparent’s house during our trip. The purpose of our trip was due to the recent passing of my grandfather. We went back to pay our respects and to see how our grandmother was doing. I really hope that my grandpa rest in peace.
However, despite the unfortunate circumstance, we did try our best to make it into a positive experience. We spent lots of time with our extended family.
To be honest, all we did during our trip was eating out at restaurants. I’m pretty sure we’ve tried almost all the famous cuisines there.
The food was exceptionally well but I do question whether it is sanitary at times. What we mostly ate was curry and spicy stuff. By the end of the trip, my stomach had experienced the consequence of this. 🙂
Aside from eating a lot, we also did some sight seeing. My uncle had took us to Sentosa, the Garden Marina by the Bay and Universal Studios. It was quite the trip and we will be visiting again next year.
My Future Is in Singapore
If you had been following my blog, you may already know that I plan on moving and retiring in Singapore. This hasn’t changed. In fact, this trip has only made me more determined to achieve this dream.
My aunt even took my condo shopping. We were checking out this nice 3-bedroom condo by the beach. It felt like paradise there. I told her that I would be looking to buy there within 1-2 years. I’ll see how that plays out.
Despite all of this, I felt good to be home. I don’t think the water there is as clean as it is here and I even got scared of the big lizards in the house. With that being said, I don’t think this will be a problem in a higher up condo but it’s good to be back in my own bed.
In the meantime, I will keep working hard on my internet business. I have noticed that my sales for the last few days have been slowing down. I will be looking to rectify this and hopefully take my business to the next level. As always, I will post any updates that I have on here.
Looks like you had a good trip. Singapore is really nice place. I’ve been lucky to visit there a few times. I could retire there.
Thanks! Me too! What is your favourite thing about Singapore? Just curious 🙂
