My Finance Android App Project
It has definitely been a while since my last post but I do intend to keep my goal of writing 4 posts per month. So far, I haven’t broken it this year. 🙂
If you have been wondering what I’ve been up to lately, well… I’ve been spending the majority of my time planning and learning how to code an android app.
This idea just came to me as I woke up one morning!
Here’s my plan so far:
Seeing as how I’ve noticed that many of the apps in the Google Playstore is focused on one area of finance such as budgeting or stocks, I have decided to write one that encompasses my finance journey so far.
Some of the features of my app would include:
- Tracking of income, expenses, assets, liabilities and a calculation of all of this in a neat and organized fashion
- A section to track your favourite stocks and a way to keep track of your stock transactions
- A finance goal list to make sure you always have them on your smartphone
- A notepad in case you want to make important notes
- A budgeting tool
- And a lot more.
This is going to be my pet project for the next little while and I have plans to release it to the readers of my blog and eventually to the Android Market.
Is there anything you would like to see in this app? Leave me a comment and I will consider adding it in. Remember, this is an all in one finance app so the more ideas the better.
More updates to come.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Will t be possible to track the progress on my goals? Would be nice to do so. Also for the non financial ones. You could make notes on why you think you have now X pct reached.
Yes it will amber tree, there will be a progress bar as well! I’m about 40 percent completed!!
